Coming August 2, 2021: Students’ Families Must Complete Required Annual Update
Why is it important? The annual update ensures that Aldine ISD and the assigned school have the most current and accurate information for your child.
What is Annual Update?
Previously, once a student enrolled in Aldine ISD, the student’s information remained the same unless a parent provided new information. The measure will increase customer service and ensure individual student information is updated annually. Starting August 2021, AISD will ask families to complete a yearly update before starting each new school year.
What will I need to complete the Annual Update in August 2021?
A Home Access Center (HAC) Account — Families will access the Annual Update form through HAC. Schools have already begun to reach out to families to ensure that at least one legal guardian — a student’s parent or legal guardian — has a HAC account. The district has also started to remind families to create a HAC account.
When will I receive notification about needing to complete the Annual Update?
The Annual Update Form online link will be available starting August 2. Over the summer, school staff will receive training on the form to assist families with questions or provide assistance to complete the form.
What type of information will I need to update for my AISD student?
- Physical address (verify or type in the correct address)
- Proof of address is required only if the address has changed
- Parent/legal guardian and emergency contact information
- Health information
- Food allergies
- Technology Acceptable Use Agreement
- Military/foster information
- Siblings information
- Student Code of Conduct Assurance
- Release of student information for school use, non-school use, military, higher education, etc.
- Free/Reduced Meal Application information
What if I am new to the school district?
Parents or legal guardians enrolling students new to the school district will complete a New Student Online Enrollment Form.
