My name is Jose Diaz, and it is a privilege and an honor to be joining the Aldine Middle School team. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and this year marks my 21st year in education, serving Aldine ISD. Before becoming principal, I held several positions, including math teacher, math skills specialist, instructional coach, assistant principal at Plummer and Grantham Middle School, and principal at Orange Grove Elementary.

My educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Houston and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Prairie View A&M University.

My passion is developing positive relationships with everyone within the community, working with students as they grow, supporting teachers and staff so that they can reach their greatest potential, strengthening a connection between school and home, and creating a positive school culture. I look forward to meeting each of you and learning how I can best support you throughout this year and many more to come.
